BALLS 3 WAYS

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! If you are still looking for a quick sweet treat for your neighbour or colleague, boss or auntie these are the perfect little bites, so easy to make (if you have a food processor) and incredibly healthy. All 3 recipes are raw, gluten free, dairy free, vegan! Sounds good? Well, calorie-wise they are perhaps the same as your delicious nougat truffles BUT accompanied by tons of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, fiber, healthy fats and protein to keep you going in such a stressful.. umm reflective time.

Perfect as naturally energising pre-workout! Little afternoon pick me ups during stressful shopping tours.

NUTS provide you with healthy fats, Vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, manganese, selenium. They are loaded with anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds which prevent cell damage and supports cardiovascular health.

DRIED FRUITS act as natural sweeteners and add fiber to the balls as well as a large number of other nutrients. Due to their high sugar content try to only eat in moderation.

SEEDS such as chia and flaxseeds have incredibly amazing fatty acid profiles. It counts to one of the best plant-based sources of heart healthy fats (omega 3). They are good sources for several vitamins and minerals such as B vitamins, magnesium or phosphorus. Further, these seed may help fight cardiovascular diseases, lower blood pressure and bad cholesterol.
