Iced coconut milk matcha tea

This recipe is a great trick if you do not want to water down your iced coffee, tea or in this case, matcha even more. Just freeze the milk of your preference like ice cubes! I used coconut milk, which tastes great in combination with matcha! 


Matcha is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. There is hardly any food that contains such high amounts of antioxidants, which fight free radicals and benefit our health immensely. Another nutrient called L-Theanine makes matcha a superfood. Thanks to the subtle caffeine and the amino acid L-theanine, matcha calms the mind and relaxes the body, it enhances mood and aids concentration. Make sure you purchase a high-quality matcha powder, it will be worth it! 



1/2 can full-fat coconut milk

2 tbsp agave syrup

1 tsp high-quality matcha tea powder


combine coconut milk and agave syrup and pour into ice cube trays

freeze for a couple hours 

Add the matcha tea powder to a small amount of hot water and whisk with a matcha bamboo whisk until dissolved 

add gradually more water and store in the fridge until cool

add coconut milk cubes into a glass and pour cold matcha on top
